Imagine what it would be like spending most of your day walking around outside. Sometimes it’s very hot and other times cold and rainy—even snowy. Now imagine the only thing between your feet and the pavement and elements is a pair of shoes that are worn, tattered, and two sizes too small.
This scenario is all too common among many of the guests of Lighthouse Ministries in downtown Lexington.

The need for shoes without holes—and clean socks for Lexington’s needy prompted them to begin the Michael’s Feet ministry to help meet this need.
Life 99 is partnering with the Lighthouse Ministries and local businesses to collect new and gently-worn shoes and new socks for Michael’s Feet.

Stop by Reliable Residential Roofing, Lexington Compounding Pharmacy, Keller Williams Bluegrass Realty or UPS stores in Hamburg, Tates Creek Center, Zandale Shopping Center and in Nicholasville during the month of August and drop off your donation of shoes or socks.
